I think I've finally descended from the wonderful and highly emotional catharsis of a gig from The Twilight Sad. It's like coming back from the deep. I needed to decompress.


I went in to this show as a fully confirmed TTS obsessed fan, and fully fixated on them as the "reason I am here" for want of a better term. That said, I have a history of absolutely adoring their support acts. They're very carefully chosen. Michael Timmons and RM Hubbert spring to mind, and quite fondly too. I was expecting pure sonic magic, and I made sure I was there for doors to catch all of the bands.


I have to say I’m absolutely down with the recent shoegaze revival 😍 at last a trend I can get behind 🤣 as a teenager in the 90s this is amazing to hear.


I don't want to pigeonhole these bands, both Theo Bleak and Deary are more of an amalgamation of styles to my ears, tho shoegaze popped in my head due to the most with the awesome lighting, and I got some proper cool Loveless colours from a few shots 💜 It's wonderful to see this and I'm gleefully awaiting a slowcore comeback, I've been listening to Low a lot this week. Just amazing sounds that I thought were gone but Tik-Tok as much as I don't understand it keeps digging up pure 90s gold.


I got sucked into the dreamy vibe again 🙌 hope you like them. I do despite my mistakes 💜


Amazing to see Sam Leighton again, I thought I recognised him then it dawned on me days later… REV MAGNETIC 🙌🤘 what a band, I shall dig photos of them out from my archive soon!


I also did some experiments with in-camera multiple exposures. I really loved these when I first looked at them but now I'm not so sure. A fun experiment either way and they are here for you to enjoy or not. Thank you to the bands! I had a great time photoing you lot.


Shooting at the Barrowlands feels like hitting god mode in photography. I'm just amazed by this venue. Stuff of dreams
